About us

HAUTE-MARNE EXPANSION (HME), a departmental agency, was created in 2006 by the General Council, the GIP Haute-Marne and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haute-Marne.

The role of the “HME” agency is to help set up industrial activities and industry support services and facilitate their technological and commercial development.

The team members who have experience in eight skill areas, come from backgrounds in industry, consultancy and banking.

In order to provide you with an optimal solution, HAUTE-MARNE EXPANSION brings together all the stakeholders required to ensure the rapid completion of your business location project.

For each project, HAUTE-MARNE EXPANSION, designates a project manager, a single point of contact whose role is to support you in your strategy and to organise the action groups required to drive the project - financial, authorization, human resources groups, etc.

• Project engineering consultancy services with support from design offices (preliminary designs) when required
• Support in obtaining financial subsidies, from the EU, French government, Regional Council, the GIP Haute-Marne (Haute-Marne business set-up group) and private development bodies (EDF Safidi, Areva Delfi, Sofired etc)
• Recruitment support with the possible implementation of a dedicated unit together with our partners (Pôle Emploi – French employment agency, employer consortia, temporary employment, etc)
• Training subsides (French government, Regional Council)
• Legal and tax advice from our chartered accountant partners
• Recruitment of business, industrial or service partners
• Reception of potential employees from another region and relocation support together with our partner.
